Intro to Hockey

Twin Ponds offers our exclusive Intro To Hockey program at both Twin Ponds East and Twin Ponds West.

This program is intended only to introduce players to ice hockey and is limited to one 4 week session.  The cost for each 4 week session is $25 for ice time and equipment rental for children, if necessary.  If a player completes a learn to
skate session prior to the intro to hockey program, the $25 fee will be waived.

Intro To Hockey is designed for boys, girls, and adults who have never played organized hockey.  Proper skating technique is crucial for all hockey players and all players much have a solid skating background prior to registering for the introduction to hockey program.

First time skaters should participate in our learn to skate programs prior to any of our hockey programs.

The first two sessions will concentrate strictly on mobility, balance, edge control, and skating.

The remaining two sessions will introduce pucks to the skating drills, and passing the puck.

Our Intro To Hockey program is an excellent introduction for our Puddle League and Twin Ponds In-House, Youth or Adult leagues. All of these programs are more in depth and include more sessions.
