Youth Leagues

IN HOUSE LEAGUE

Twin Ponds is offering a fall/winter in-house league which will run from October 2010 to March 2011.  Our goal at Twin Ponds, is to give everyone the opportunity to learn from and enjoy their hockey experience.  All players who register will be assigned to a team.  Teams will be limited to 15 players plus goaltenders.  Players are required to have USA Hockey insurance.

League Fees:  Included in the league fees are 16 one hour games, 22 skills clinics and a jersey.

Mites:               $460.00
Squirts:              540.00
PeeWees:          540.00
Bantams:            540.00
Midgets:             540.00

   Registration deadline is September 11, 2010

FULL EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES WHILE THE PLAYER IS ON THE ICE

*Mouth guards are mandatory for Pee Wee level and above.

PeeWee level and above will be checking.

 On-Ice Evaluations are September 26, 2010 at Twin Ponds East

      Mites:  1:00 - 2:00 p.m.
      Squirts:  2:15 - 3:15 p.m.
      PeeWees:  3:30 - 4:30 p.m.
      Bantams & Midgets:  4:45 - 5:45 p.m.

The age brackets for team division will be as follows:

Home games will be played at Twin Ponds East and West and will be played on Sundays.  We will be scheduling games against the
in-house teams from York, Lancaster and Hershey.  Those games
could be played on Saturdays.

PUDDLE LEAGUE - TWIN PONDS EAST ONLY

Fall/Winter  2010/2011

The "puddle league" is designed to introduce the beginning hockey player to the game of ice hockey. This league is available for boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 7. During the season a tremendous amount of emphasis will be placed on skill development. The score of the games and player stats will not be kept in order to keep a positive atmosphere where skill improvement and fun are the main objectives.  Only flagrant off-sides will be called in order to permit a better flow of the game and eliminate unnecessary breaks in the game.  Players are required to have USA Hockey insurance.

Cost:  The cost for the puddle league is $340.00 for the season.   Please send your registration to Twin Ponds East prior to the registration deadline of September 26th.  Included in this fee are 20 one hour practices and 15 one hour games.  Also included is a team jersey   

Registration deadline is September 26, 2010

Games will be held Sundays at Twin Ponds East.  Practices will
be held on Tuesday evenings.

Orientation for the puddle league is scheduled for Sunday,
 October 3rd,  2:15 - 3:15 p.m. at Twin Ponds East.
