Aspire! To Figure Skate Program
The Aspire! program at Twin Ponds combines small-group on-ice instruction plus off-ice dance & conditioning for skaters. In addition to jumps, spins, and artistry, skaters will learn to warm up off-ice like a champion, navigate freestyle sessions and set goals to practice on their own. We’ll cover the importance of self-confidence and well-being, proper nutrition and recovery, and much more! This program is the next step next step after Learn to Skate to help transition from learn to skate classes to freestyle ice and private lessons. Skaters can participate in the Aspire Program while continuing with their Learn to Skate USA classes.

ASPIRE LEVELS
-LOW: Basic 4-5
-MEDIUM: Basic 6 & Pre-Freeskate
-HIGH: Freeskate 1-3

Aspire is taught by our team of highly qualified and certified coaches and is available to skaters of all ages. Participants should be skating at Learn to Skate USA Basic Level 4 or above and be a member of a figure skating club.

Figure Skating Academy Program

The Figure Skating Academy is an advanced skating class consisting of on-ice instruction and off-ice dance & conditioning. In addition to jumps, spins, and artistry, skaters will learn off-ice conditioning, plyometrics, periodization, and mental toughness. We’ll cover the importance of positive self-talk, eating to fuel performance, and much more!

ACADEMY LEVELS
LOW: Pre-Freeskate – Freeskate 3
MEDIUM: Freeskate 4 – 6 / No-Test
HIGH: Pre-Preliminary – Pre Juvenile

This program is the next step after Aspire! to Figure Skate. The purpose of this class is to help skaters learn advanced skills in a fun and social group setting. Depending on skill level, skaters can participate in the Figure Skating Academy while continuing with their Aspire to Figure Skate classes.

Our classes are taught by a team of highly qualified and certified coaches. This class is available to participants of all ages who are skating at the Pre-Freestyle through Pre-Juvenile levels and are members of a figure skating club.
